PlayGenus documentation
Guides for getting your studio onto PlayGenus — how onboarding works, and how to import your historical analytics data.
PlayGenus is a game analytics platform for indie and small studios. Every churn prediction comes with a plain-English reason and a recommended action, so your team can act on it without a data scientist in the room.
These guides cover getting your game set up and bringing your existing data with you.
How onboarding works
What happens between your first conversation and your first prediction — who does what, and what each part needs from you.
Import your historical data
Bring event history from GameAnalytics, PlayFab, Firebase, Unity Analytics, or any CSV, so your models start with context instead of from zero.
Where to start
If you haven't talked to us yet, start with How onboarding works. It covers the whole path: the genre questionnaire, the tracking plan we build with you, and the SDK we generate for your game.
If you're already set up and want your back catalogue of events in the platform, go to Import your historical data. Import is the part of the product you drive yourself.
Try it before you read
A read-only demo account is open to everyone at app.playgenus.com/auth/demo — the real dashboard, populated with realistic demo data. No signup, no credit card.
